Uniform List
Following our recent consultation, the shirt, tie and blazer will be voluntary.
This means that if your child would prefer to wear the t-shirt and jumper all year round this is absolutely fine, but if your child likes the shirt, tie and blazer that is ok as well.
Winter uniform (may be worn all year round)
- Navy blazer* with school logo (*years 7 – 11 only)
- White shirt
- Maroon V-neck sweatshirt with school logo
- School tie
- Plain navy trousers
- Knee-length navy skirt
- Navy/black socks or navy tights
- Black school shoes (no trainers or high heels)
- Navy or black outdoor coat or fleece (no leather, suede, denim, camouflage or hoodies)
Summer uniform (may be worn all year round)
- Dark blue polo shirt with school logo
- Maroon V-neck sweatshirt with school logo
- Plain navy trousers or tailored navy shorts
- Knee-length navy skirt
- Navy/black socks or navy tights
- Black school shoes (no trainers or high heels)
Jewellery
Jewellery is not allowed in school except for a stud or small sleeper in each ear. These should be removed for PE for safety reasons
Nail varnish
Nail varnish is not allowed in school.
Piercings
Nose rings, tongue studs, eye-brow studs or any visible body piercings are unacceptable.
Hairstyles
Hairstyles should be appropriate for school and not extreme in terms of colour, style or length. For example, hairstyles should not reflect passing trends such as partially or fully shaved or bright colours. Long hair should be tied back.
Tattoos
No tattoos are allowed. This is in accordance with the Tattooing of Minors Act 1969 – it is illegal to tattoo a child of 16 or under.
Make up
Light make up may only be worn by year 11 as a privilege.
Sportswear
- Maroon round neck sweatshirt with school logo
- Sky blue polo shirt with school logo
- Navy shorts or jogging bottoms
- Plain white ankle socks
- Navy football socks
- White/navy trainers
All items of school uniform should be clearly named
We would ask that all parents and carers ensure that the correct uniform is provided and is worn in a manner which upholds the high standards of the school.
We also have some 2nd hand uniform for £1.00 per item.
